Val Butler

Passed Away peacefully at Lisaard House on February 27th, 2024 at the age of 79 years.

Born in Devon, UK. Moved to Canada in 1984. Val loved to play badminton, tennis and pickle ball. She worked for the Ontario Badminton Association for many years. Non sporting activities included a lot of bridge. Playing at lunchtime while working, at badminton tournaments and regularly with friends once retired.

Val will be missed by her daughters Jo Butler and Kathy Butler (Andrew ) and her granddaughter Libby.  Also by her sister Claire and brother Roger and all the extended family in the UK.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lisaard House, St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation or Grand River Cancer Centre.
