Werner Czurlok

1934 - 2024

Passed away at The Village of Winston Park, Kitchener on Saturday December 21, 2024 at the age of 90 . He was born in Germany to the late Karl and Charlotte Czurlok.

He immigrated to Canada in 1956 with his wife and baby daughter. He was loved by many and known for his goofiness and antics.

Beloved husband of the late Karola ( nee Gerth). They were married for over 62 years.

Loving father of Martina Harper, Joann Schaner (Craig), Monica Czurlok-Campbell (Neil)

Cherished Grandfather of Samantha Burns (Mark), Krystal Poffley (Brandon), Paul Harper (Leila), Niki McHugh (Don), Lisa McHugh (Juston), Mathew McHugh (Norma), Kelsi Gardner (Jeremy), Jason Campbell (Amber) and Jeffrey Campbell (Courtney).

Lovingly remembered by 21 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by granddaughter Mandy, and his brother Horst and sister Cilli.

Cremation will take place. A private family gathering will be held as per Werner’s request.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local Alzheimer’s Society OR the KW Humane Society.
