William James Nicholl

1993 - 2024

Passed away at Freeport Hospital on Friday December 20, 2024 at the age of 31 years.

William led a simple life, truly gaining joy from the little things. He loved being near and in the water. The beach and the swimming pool made him equally happy. He also loved watching game shows on the tv. Price is right, Wheel and of course, Jeopardy.

I wish to thank all of the staff at Parents for Community Living. From Menno to Malabar to Evelyn, you have all been so truly caring for William. You loved him like family and I appreciate that more than you know.

Predeceased by grandfathers James Hagan and William Nicholl. 

Survived by his mother Lisa Hagan, his brother Gary (Kailey), his nieces Alice and Aspen and nephews, Arlo and Odin in Prince Edward Island and his grandmother Lucy Hagan. Also survived by his father Steve Nicholl and paternal grandmother Patti Nicholl.

Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held later in the spring of 2025.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parents for Community Living or the Grand River Hospital.
