Allan Joseph MacPhee

1952 - 2023

Allan was born in Glacé Bay, Nova Scotia on October 15, 1952. He moved to Ontario in 1968, where he found work in Cambridge. He spent many years at Mitten Vinyl Siding as a supervisor in shipping and receiving. Allan then found employment at American Standard.

In his younger years, he spent many Saturdays watching boxing matches with friends. He loved hitting the heavy bag often hung in his living room doorway, encouraging his children to give it a try.

Allan enjoyed various activities with friends including dart leagues and work engagements. He was a member of Crunch fitness (formally Popeyes) in Kitchener for 36 years. He met great friends and looked forward to workouts while socializing with the boys at the gym.

Allan was a family man, always putting his family first. He loved Sunday dinners, Christmas gatherings and all the family times together.

Loving husband and best friend for 52 years of Mary MacPhee. Cherished father of Christine (Paul) Martz, Shaun MacPhee. Beloved grandfather of Braden and Kailey Martz, Ethan Mercier. Dear Brother of Shiann (Sandy) Ridout, Betty (Danny) Butts, Jolene (Sheldon) McNabb, Wayne MacPhee, Colleen (Cecil) Farrow, Blair (Raylene) MacPhee, Mary (Maurice) Thomas.

Predeceased by Parents Helen and Michael MacPhee, sister Alma Medley and Greg (life partner Monique) MacPhee.
