Donald Edgar Vokey

Passed away on April 14, 2024 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital after a short battle with stomach cancer.

Loving son of Geraldine Vokey (late Edgar). Beloved father of Sherry Hatfield (Dale) and Jaime Vokey. Proud grandfather of Roman, Mya, Arielle and Owen. Cherished long-time partner of Dorothy Woodman. Sadly missed by his brothers Melvin (Ella May) and Rufus (Sandy). Fondly remembered by many friends and extended family.

Don was a kool cat, a musician at heart, guitar man and car man with an unforgettable sense of humour. He earned a great deal of wisdom throughout his life and often used his experiences to help others.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Don’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
