Michael Barrie Stafford

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden peaceful passing of Michael Barrie Stafford on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in his 86th year. Michael, born in Redruth, Cornwall, UK, cherished his British heritage and proudly displayed the Union Jack in his backyard.

Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Miller) for over 64 years and a loving father to Jennifer Hipel (Jim), Jason Stafford, and Todd Stafford. Michael was a proud grandfather to Aaron, Allison (Ryan), Jake (Kelly), Kadison (Laura), and Jayden (Abby); and great-grandfather to Paisley, Easton, Hailey, Maeve, Preston, Harrison & Natalie.

He is survived by his brother Bob (Marlene) and lovingly remembered by Leslie, Bob, Paul and their families. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Eva (nee Perrow).

The depth of his connections and the memories shared by friends and extended family members highlight the significance of his presence in their lives.

It's comforting to know that his memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and shared experiences of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Cremation has occurred and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster Neo Natal Unit are welcomed as expressions of sympathy.
