Douglas Bruce Lyon

1946 - 2024

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Douglas Bruce Lyon, who left us on Tuesday May 14 2024 at the age of 77 years.

 Beloved husband of the late Brenda Lyon (2015)

Predeceased by his parents Jean Scott and Earnest Lyon

 Dad was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his friends and loved ones.

His passion for fishing and hunting and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.

Dad made many lifetime friendships during his career at JM Schneiders.  You could always count on him for a good laugh.

 He is survived by his children Annette Heffernan (John) & Deborah Lyon. Grandchildren Aniesha Lyon & Zackary Heffernan and Great Granddaughter Mevaeh Lyon,  and partner Shirley Wickens, who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

 Cremation has taken place. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
