Dylan Reany-Dubreuil
1999 – 2023
It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to Dylan Lawrence Reany-Dubreuil, who passed away suddenly on April 27th, 2023, in Burlington Ontario at the age of 24.
Forever loved and missed by his mother Laurie Reany and sister Megan. Grandson of the late Helen and Lawrence Reany, nephew to Margaret (Herb), Kim (Vince) Gary (June) and the Late Brian (Penny) and numerous cousins. He leaves behind his father Paul Dubreuil (Kathleen), Grandson to Lois and the late Thomas Dubreuil, nephew to Mike (Bonnie), David (Shelly) Derek (Carolyn), and numerous cousins. He will be missed by so many. His family, godparents, honorary aunts and uncles, best friends, coaches and friends from numerous sports teams, teachers and friends from school and the University of Waterloo.
Dylan was passionate about Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins. He loved his pets and felt it was his life’s mission to save as many stray cats as he could. Dylan had a heart of gold and was known for his upbeat, jovial personality. His sister will attest to his playful nature as he liked to hide her coffee whenever her back was turned. He called himself the “fly”. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, spending time with his family and playing video games with his best friends. He was a very smart, kind and generous young man. The world has lost one of the very best and there will forever be a void.
A celebration of life will take place in Kitchener at the Williamsburg Dedication Centre, 1541 Fischer Hallman Road, Kitchener N2R 1P6, on Saturday, June 10th, 2023, from 4:15pm to 6:45pm. All friends and family are welcome to pay their final respects to Dylan. Casual dress code, black, colourful, Bruins attire, whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Dylan loved desserts, especially Krispy Kreme donuts and pastries so we will be serving coffee, tea and dessert. Feel free to drop in or stay a while.
Flowers are welcome or donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society in Dylan’s name. Or to Canadian Mental Health Association.
