Harry Theabeau
1935 - 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Harry Theabeau announces his passing. Harry passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 22, in his 90th year.
Harry will be greatly missed by Jean, his loving wife of 68 years, and by his daughters, Shelley Mutton (Bruce), and Renée Molnar (Frank). Predeceased by his beloved son Glenn in 1995.
Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Hanh (Caroline), Nock (Richard), and Deng Thalychanh, and Laura (Jimmy), and Daniel Mutton, as well as his sisters-in-law, Doreen Crawford (Don), Helen Goerzen, Nancy Stewart (Joe), and Linda Tymec, and many nieces and nephews .
Harry was born on Point Pelee, and spent much of his youth exploring the outdoors, which led to a lifelong appreciation of nature and a love of animals. His friends and family will remember him as a consummate cook, (What isn’t better with butter?), avid reader, storyteller, bartender, wildlife feeder, and pet-spoiler. He was generous with his time and cared deeply for his loved ones.
Cremation has taken place according to his wishes. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Humane Society would honour Harry's memory and be appreciated by the family.
