Herbert “Herbie” Szauerzopf

November 10, 1957 - February 4, 2025

Herbert “Herbie” Szauerzopf of Cambridge, ON, peacefully passed away in his 68th year from an exhausting battle with cancer on February 4, 2025.

Herb, the only son of late Kurt and Gertrude Szauerzopf, is survived by his wife Maria (Mari), son Andrew (Luisa), daughter Sara (Sean), grandson Austin and partner Laurie.

Herb was a proud constable of the Peel Regional Police for 35 years and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He loved raising and showing Paint Horses and Portuguese Water Dogs.

Cremation will take place. A private family internment will be held.

Herb hopes that his death can save a life. Donations to the Road to Care would be appreciated.
