Jacqueline Rosalie Greig (nee Rouse)

1937 – 2024

Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Monday April 29, 2024 at the age of 86 years.

Jacqueline was born and raised on the home farm in Miller Lake and attended school in the area of Lindsay Township. Outside of being a full-time Mom she held down a number of jobs including Cheese Maker at Millbank Cheese and Butter and then with Food Services at the University of Waterloo until retiring. She loved the outdoors and tending to her flowers and gardening, as well as a love for all her furry kids and this was quite evident throughout her life.  She loved to fish and enjoy many relaxing weekends at the cottage and trailer. In her younger years was known to do some hunting as well. 

Beloved partner and best friend of Terry Frey who were together for over 32 years.

Loving Mother of Roger ( Janice), Cindy Gammage ( Mike Gibson), Lester ( Ellen)    and Darcy ( Laurie) .  

Cherished grandmother of Jeanette , Angela,  Valerie, Chris, Shaun, Cameron, Allison, Jillian, Tanya and Kevin. Proud Great Grandmother of Dakota , Megan, Matthew , Bella, Keegan, Cameron, Mavarik , Olivia , Elliot , Kendal, Chloe and Kira.

Dear sister of Gwendolyn and Ian Rouse.

Predeceased by eldest daughter Ann (Lance ), by an older brother Bill and  by her parents John and Annie Rouse.

Cremation will take place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at later date .

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
