Michael Cullaton
It’s with heavy hearts and a smile on our faces that we remember Michael Cullaton, who passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024 surrounded by friends and family. He was a man who knew how to enjoy life, whether it was over a perfectly cooked BBQ steak or while knocking down pins at Dickson Bowl. Born on February 15, 1961 to Ronald & Lorraine Cullaton, he spent 63 years being a loving father, a loyal friend, and an all-around good guy.
The most important part of Mike’s life were his kids- Julia Carullo (James), Christine Keachie (James), Jessica Green (Terry) and Braeden Cullaton (Sadie). There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them—whether it was offering advice on repairing everything from car to home, lending a hand, going fishing, or just being there to listen, and nothing, not even allergies, could stop him from making sure everyone was well-fed! His children were his pride and joy, and he was always their biggest fan, ready to drop everything to support them in whatever they needed (or tell them if they were wrong haha). Mike’s love of his family merged with his passion for bowling, where he spent countless evenings perfecting his game and sharing laughs with friends.
Mike and his best friend AJ loved nothing more than teasing each other, watching hockey, and sitting on the front porch with Willow at their feet. Their friendship was built on laughter, good-natured ribbing, and a shared love of the simple moments in life.
Whether you knew him for his charm at work, his competitive streak at the bowling alley, or his ability to enjoy a good meal, Mike had a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He is predeceased by his parents and survived by his siblings Art Cullaton, Jean Guthrie (Glen) and Shirley Badgley (Jim) and beloved Papa to Trinity, Alexa, Olivia, Theo, Everleigh, Christine, Michael, Lucas, Alexander & Keira, who will forever cherish his love, his laughter, and his endless dedication to his family.
In honor of Mike, enjoy a steak, knock down a few pins, take your family fishing, or simply take a moment to appreciate the ones you love—just like he always did.
