In loving memory of Myra Joyce Elliott

(March 1931 to October 2024)

She will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Loving wife to Edward John Elliott for 73 years of marriage. Wonderful loving Mom to four daughters; Susan, Brenda (Brian), Sharon and Valerie (Paul). Very proud Grandmother to Elliott (Alicia), Matthew, Jesse, Liam, Grant (Olivia) and Meaghan who all loved her dearly. Greatgrandmother to Nixon.

Myra's life focused around her husband, children, grandchildren and greatgrandson. She always made her house a home with her wonderful sense of style and her gift of decorating. She loved to play games and win whether it was board games like monopoly with her grandchildren or euchre with friends and family. Hobbies she enjoyed included crafting, fishing, shopping and bowling. One of her favourite places was West Lake in Prince Edward County, fishing with her family where she often would not give up until she had caught her quota of pickerel and had beat everyone else in the boat!

Myra had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to make others laugh. We used to say that she could make a new friend when a wrong number called on the telephone. Her outgoing personality drew people to her and she had many friends throughout her life. In her senior years, she was the President of the Golden Age Club in Cambridge Ontario.
