Natalia Naris
1958 - 2023
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Natalia Naris on Wednesday August 9, 2023. A caring daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and wife, she passed away at the age of 65, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson / MSA.
Natalia loved travelling and was always fascinated by different cultures. That led her to studying Engineering away from home at the Leningrad Mathematical Institute. Upon graduating Natalia travelled extensively, lived and worked four years in Germany and close to ten years in Cuba. After the birth of her only child Alexander, she relocated in Estonia and later moved to Canada. It is in Canada where she me the love of her life, Guy Levesque. For the past 24 years and until her death, they were inseparable.
Being a very positive pragmatic person, Natalia was able to find joy in literally anything. She loved camping, cycling, baking, gardening and running choirs around house. Over the years her priorities were always family first, work second followed by a. Her ability to excel at every career she embarked on was evident, in engineering, business, accounting to IT specialist and even cat breeder. No matter what she did, she excelled at it!
In brief Natalia was a very special person.
Beloved spouse of Guy Levesque. Loving and adored mother of her only son Alexander Naris.
Cherished and proud grandmother of Victoria, Diana and Sophia Naris. Predeceased by her parents; Alexander and Anna Naris, and brother Alexander Naris.
The cremation took place on August 12th, followed by an intimate celebration of life ceremony on August 19th.
Her ashes were lovingly released into the waters of Laurel Creek, situated at Waterloo Park. This location held a special significance, as it flowed close by where Natalia spent the last five years of her life.
We like to thank every one who participated in the ceremony.
