In Loving Memory of Pieter van Eykeren

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Pieter, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Predeceased by his wife, Jennifer Brown (2020). He will be lovingly remembered by his three children Carla, Kevin (Jessica) and Mark (Laura).  Proud grandfather of Mykayla, Hunter, Addison, Archer, Claire, Gavin, and Ethan,

Dear youngest brother too; Annet 2023 (Kees 2019) Bison, Michiel (Shirley) van Eykeren, Joanna (Harry) Rikkerink, Francis (Herman) Russchen, Riekske (Gerard) Giesen, Christine (Sander 2009) Bison, and Nella van Eykeren.

Pieter was born in Vorden, The Netherlands, and came to Canada in 1975, where he fell in love with Jennifer and together, they established their beautiful family. Pieter was best known for his strong work ethic, and infectious laugh. He was a man of unwavering determination, integrity, and whose work ethic was unmatched. His dedication and determination were evident in all that he did, and his life serves as a testament to the values of hard work and perseverance.

Though he has left this world, his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will forever be a guiding light in our hearts.

A celebration of life for Pieter will be determined at a later date.
