Velma Catherine Uebele

Velma passed away at home surrounded with the love of her family on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the age of 90 years.

Born and raised in Mildmay, later in Preston, Ontario. Velma worked at Greb Shoe and Electrohome where she had many friends and retired many years later. Velma loved to garden, crochet and spend time with her siblings, children, grandchildren and great-grand children. A woman of many talents, great strength, a heart of gold and her ever present yardstick.

Loving mother of Steven, Wendy (favourite son in law André), Kenneth (favourite daughter in law, Louise), the late Donna Uebele-Dej (Johnathan) and Bob  (Yvonne).

Cherished grandmother of Alexander (Cammie), Mathew (Chelsea), Adam (Heather), Kassandra (Jon), Melissa (Shawn), Matthew, Emily (Jeffrey), Samantha (Alexander) and joining Victoria and Jason in Heaven.

Proud great grandmother of Mason, Axel, Gabriel, Maxwell and baby Uebele on the way.

Dear sister, of Irene (Hugh, deceased) and Evelyn (Gates), Irvin (Sharon), the late Loretta, the late Leonard, the late Lloyd (Clara), the late Gerald (Marion) and her child by birth Earl (Terry) .

Predeceased by her love Douglas Uebele and her parents Harold and Mary-Ann Weber.

Cremation has taken place. At Velma's request there will be no other activities.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KW Humane Society as expressions of sympathy.
